The 26.2 with Donna, the broken transformer on Liberty Street and the Hartley Road water main break are all in the headlines today.

Today's Weather
In Jacksonville skies will be partly sunny, with a high near 70 degrees. Tonight there is a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 5 a.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 61 degrees.

At the Beaches it will be partly sunny, with a high near 66 degrees. Tonight there should be scattered showers, mainly after 5 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of precipitation. The low temperature will be around 61 degrees (National Weather Service)

A water main broke in Mandarin, shutting down Hartley Road. JEA currently does not know what broke the 12-inch water main, but they know it happened around 2 a.m. JEA expects to have the water main fixed by 6 p.m. (News4Jax)

Conjoined twin boys born in Jacksonville to be separated soon. They have been unable to keep a feeding tube in place in one of the boys, so doctors at Wolfson Children's Hospital have decided to expedite the surgery to complete the separation. (Action News Jax)

The damaged transformer on Liberty Street was replaced Sunday morning. A helicopter was used to lift out the transformer that was broken, when Liberty Street collapsed two weeks ago, and bring in the new the transformer. (News4Jax) 

Teacher suspended for video recording students fighting. Rita Baci was placed on unpaid suspension for 15 days last Monday after using her cell phone to video record a kindergarten student hitting other children instead of intervening. She was also accused of pushing a student out of the classroom with her foot. (The Florida Times-Union)

Thousands turn out for record breaking 26.2 with Donna marathon. Elisha Barno of Kenya won his first marathon and beat the previous record by over two minutes. (The Florida Times-Union)
