We revisited the fight over development on Cumberland Island with Bill Bruce, a retired lawyer and former legislator who filed the first appeal which blocked attempted development on Cumberland.
On a related note, the National Park Service is holding public listening sessions about the visitor experience to the park on April 12 and 13, and is also accepting online comments. Any comments about the proposed development will be considered as part of the public record, but the Park Service cautions that its recreation plan does not include the proposed development.
