5/28/19: Solitary Confinement; Jacksonville's Southern Rock; Moveable Feast

A lawsuit has been filed challenging the use of solitary confinement in Florida prisons. 

Shalini Goel Agarwal, supervising attorney with the Southern Poverty Law Center, and Laurette Philipsen, a former inmate who was locked up in solitary for 28 days joined us with more information.

Southern Rock

Jacksonville is home to the genre of music known as southern rock and PBS is planning to air a mini-series on the orgins of the genre. Michael Ray FitzGerald, author of a new historical study titled Jacksonville and The Roots of Southern Rock, joined us with more.
