On this episode of First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross, we heard from the chairman of the Duval County Public School Board, Warren Jones, on the half-cent sales tax proposal to fund school repairs and construction.
Jones joined us to explain the latest moves in the board's legal battle to hold a sales tax referendum. If approved by voters, the tax would run for 15 years and could potentially raise $1.2 billion for school repairs and maintenance.
