The St. Johns County School District announced Tuesday that it will push back its start date, due to the coronavirus pandemic, and in part, to Jacksonville's Republican National Convention.
The postponement came the same day that Mayor Lenny Curry said he is still confident Jacksonville can safely host the convention, despite concerns raised by Sheriff Mike Williams about security.

Breweries battle COVID-19 Restrictions
One group that’s been hit particularly hard by the pandemic is Florida’s craft beer brewers.
On Tuesday, the Florida Brewers Guild sent a letter to Governor Ron DeSantis, noting that “our internal polling has revealed that we are likely to lose more than 100 breweries permanently if this continues for more than two weeks.”
