As we all prepare for what could be a tough winter dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, the drug maker Pfizer announced Monday that an early analysis of its coronavirus vaccine trial suggests the vaccine is very effective in preventing Covid-19.
This is a promising development as the world waits anxiously for any positive news about a pandemic that has killed more than 1.2 million people.

The Firewatch
Wednesday is Veterans Day, and Jacksonville will observe the day with a traditional Downtown parade.
Additionally, we are spotlighting local organizations helping veterans on the First Coast all this week. The Fire Watch, whose mission is to stop veterans’ suicides, is one of them. General Mike Fleming, who chairs the organization, joined us to discuss its work.
