The Duval County Public Schools district has launched a new, more comprehensive COVID-19 dashboard to replace the previous public tool.
At the time of this story’s publication Tuesday morning, the new dashboard showed 402 COVID-19 cases district wide, with 280 student cases and 122 staff cases.
The new dashboard introduces a variety of new features, including district-wide running totals of student cases, staff cases and total number of cases.
A Bing mapping system has also been introduced to give employees, students and families a graphical representation of where the outbreaks in schools around the district are.

A pie chart has also been introduced.
The former dashboard’s school-by-school breakdown of cases has also been retained.
Superintendent Diana Greene announced the new dashboard would be launching this week during Monday's First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross.
