Duval County's health department is now accepting appointments online for COVID-19 vaccinations for people 65 years old and older, along with healthcare workers and EMS workers who have direct patient contact.
Here is the online reservation form.
Thursday's announcement follows an earlier announcement about a hotline that people can call at (904) 253-1140 to make an appointment. Originally the hotline was the only way to schedule a shot.
Vaccines are available by appointment only, using the online portal or by calling between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.
The phone line is now closed for the holiday weekend but it is set to reopen Monday, Jan. 4, at 8 a.m.
