FILE - In this July 21, 2016, file photo, confetti and balloons fall during celebrations after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's acceptance speech on the final day of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

The local Republican Party is pushing to have the GOP nominating convention in Jacksonville. Dean Black, Chairman of the Republican Party of Duval County, joined us to discuss the possibility of the city hosting the convention. Richard Borders, who started a petition against bringing the convention to Jacksonville, also joined us.
