Live Music Returns To Daily’s Place With Sold-Out Machine Gun Kelly Show

Live music is returning to the Daily’s Place stage Friday night.

Chart-topping artist Machine Gun Kelly will play before a sold-out crowd of roughly 5,500 fans at 7:30 p.m.

It’s the open air venue’s first full capacity, live music event in more than a year.

However, Daily’s Place has been hosting other events throughout the pandemic.

“We’ve hosted more than 25 live AEW shows at Daily’s Place this past year and drive-in concerts as well, and we’re excited for the return of a full house for live music,” said Chad Johnson, senior vice president of sales and service and chief content officer for the Jaguars and Bold Events. “We’ll continue to employ a host of health and safety measures throughout the venue and will expect fans to do their part by staying away if they’re feeling unwell but are excited to welcome artists back to Jacksonville.”

Machine Gun Kelly is a genre-bending musician and actor. His 2020 album, Tickets to My Downfall, debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and produced a number of Platinum hits, including “bloody valentine” and “my ex’s best friend” feat. blackbear. And earlier this year, he released Down Falls High, an accompanying film he wrote and directed with Mod Sun.

Daily’s Place also recently announced a number of other new shows, including Tedeschi TrucksFireside Live on June 11 and 12, and  Brad Paisley on July 8. Capacity limits for those shows will vary.

Friday’s concert falls on the eve of UFC 261, another sold out, full-capacity event - with 15,000 fans expected - which will take place at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.
