A growing cohort of faith leaders is warning about a disturbing trend in American religious and political life. White Christian nationalism has sparked a slew of deadly violence across the country in recent years.

Tonight, the local interfaith group OneJax is hosting a talk about Christian nationalism as they feature a national faith leader.

PeerLyfe

Lyman Starmer is a 19 year old CEO and recent graduate of Wolfson High School. He is focusing on older Americans for his latest tech venture: PeerLyfe, a social network for the 55+ community. PeerLyfe is set to launch soon.

'Untold Stories'

Season two of “Untold Stories,” an oral storytelling event, will kick off at The Florida Theatre on Nov. 3. We have a preview, along with a ticket giveaway.

Comic and Zine Festival

The Duval Comic and Zine Festival is coming up Saturday at the Main Library. It’s a festival for self-publishers with tips on how to create your own content, and check out some of the comics and zines made by local creators too.
