It’s Friday on the First Coast, and we’ve gathered the most significant news of the week to discuss with our local media experts.

These stories include the rise of violent crime in Jacksonville, approval of the city's budget, Florida’s federal redistricting trial and JEA’s proposed rate increase in 2024.
