What's Health Got to Do with It?

Yoga as medicine; the health benefits of being outside; space medicine

Today, on "What’s Health Got to Do with It?" Dr. Siven features some of his favorite interviews of 2022 so far.

He writes:

We start with an inspirational interview that first aired in March and introduced us to an amazing hero, Dan Nevins, who is literally and figuratively using yoga as medicine.

Then, if you are like me, summer means spending a lot of time outside. There is a growing body of evidence showing that time in nature can improve all kinds of different physical and mental health conditions, which, in turn, improves patient health, reduces costs to the health care system, and perhaps makes all participants more aware of the environment around them.

I loved this interview from March with three amazing experts who have written extensively on the topic and want to help make enjoying nature a daily part of our busy lives — winter, spring, summer and fall.

Finally, as we go into space launch season, we revisit a compelling conversation with doctors researching the future of health care in space.

Enjoy!
