Jacksonville 'Professional Best Man' helps grooms plan for the big day. Although Jake Overman is not a 'best man for-hire' like Kevin Hart's character in The "Wedding Ringer" he is a wedding planner for men, helping them with bachelor parties, fashion, honeymoons and speech-writing. (WJCT)
Church and family grieving the death of mother of two who died in pond crash. A 37-year-old woman crashed into a retention pond off of Oakleaf Plantation Parkway. Duoha Point du Jour Honor was alive at the scene when rescuers pulled her from the car, but she was unresponsive. She died later at the hospital. (News4Jax)
Media group and open-government advocates says Scott violated Sunshine Law, files lawsuit. The lawsuit claims that the conversations between Gov. Rick Scott's staff in the ouster of FDLE Commissioner Gerald Bailey violated the Sunshine Law which requires transparency in government. (WJCT)
Candidates for Jacksonville's sheriff met voters in Mandarin. Voters met six of the seven candidates for sheriff, and asked them questions about why they deserve the job. (News4Jax)
Columbia County sisters who shot and killed brother released from detention. State Attorney Jeff Siegmeiser said that the 11-year-old will not be charged, but did not comment on the whether he would charge the 16-year-old. The girls were released because minors cannot be detained more than 21 days without charges filed. (The Florida Times-Union)
Man changes his mind while robbing Jax Metro Credit Union. Police say that after demanding cash from the teller, the suspect turned around and left. (The Florida Times-Union)
