Appointment slots for COVID vaccines this week in Nassau County are full, according to the county’s website.
That’s after officials there announced the local health department has a very limited supply of the Moderna vaccine.
Health care workers with direct patient contact and people 65 and older who live in Nassau County are eligible to sign up for the vaccine.
The county expects to get more shots and reopen the appointments system soon. Residents can sign up for updates via text alerts by texting the NassauSafe to 888777.
More information is available on the county's COVID 19 appointments page, which is being updated.
