Known as “Florida’s first war on woke,” a government-backed effort during the civil rights era sought to remove gay students and teachers from schools. Today, we hear from the Rev.Ruth Jensen-Forbell of Jacksonville, a former Florida State University student who experienced targeting by the secretive Jones Committee during this troubling period.
