We talk to a law school dean and constitutional lawyer about cases they’re watching and what they tell us about how far the system can be pushed without breaking.

Nick Allard is the founding dean, Jacksonville University College of Law, and a veteran of the D.C. political scene, having worked on multiple presidential campaigns. He also served as senior counsel in the Washington office of Dentons US LLP, the largest law firm in the world. Bryan Gowdy is a Jacksonville based appellate attorney with Creed & Gowdy who has briefed and orally argued appeals before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the Supreme Court of Florida and Florida's district courts of appeal

Then, what does the latest research into back and spine health tell us about relief from injury? We discuss why lower back pain, one of the leading causes of disability worldwide, is more prevalent among women and why maintaining spine health is key to avoiding a world of hurt.

  • Dr. Andrew Shaw, neurosurgeon with Baptist Health.

And, the annual River City Dancing with the Stars showcases local luminaries turning out for a cause. The event donates 100% of proceeds to the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus. We talk to a celebrity dancer and event organizer about what to expect from this year’s chorus line.
