Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry says it’s time to take incremental steps to partially reopen the city’s economy. He’s assembled a group of local civic leaders to advise him.

In making this move, he cited data that shows Jacksonville is already reaching some milestones when it comes to testing for COVID19 and flattening the curve of positive cases being treated in area hospitals. First Coast Home Pros recently pivoted from its main business line of home services, to producing face shields for the University of Florida. They’re working to provide UF health care workers protection from COVID19.
