 Lakesha Burton
Lakesha Burton

It’s been one year since former Duval County Schools Police Chief Greg Burton suffered a near fatal stroke. We talk to former sheriff’s candidate and Director of Community Initiatives Lakesha Burton about her husband’s remarkable recovery and the issues he still faces. We also welcome Jodi Morgan, speech-language pathologist and co-founder of the Brooks Rehabilitation Aphasia Center.

Then, our election coverage continues as Democratic congressional contender L.J. Holloway joins us to explain why she’s challenging 4th District Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Aaron Bean.

Guest:

  • LaShonda “L.J.” Holloway, candidate for Florida’s 4th Congressional District.

And, the (0-3) Jaguars hoped for a better game day performance as they faced off against the Texans (2-1) Sunday in Houston after a dismal beatdown in Buffalo. News4Jax sportscaster Alessandra Pontbriand joins us with all of the highlights.
